Walt Disney World opened on this day in 1971, bringing Disney’s vision for a sprawling theme park destination to life in a way that would continue to this day. The famous icon at the centre of the Magic Kingdom, 71040 Disney Castle, is available from the LEGO Group – shown in the image in front of the ‘real’ landmark.
