Fan’s LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon stolen

LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon is back in the news, unfortunately on this occasion because the coveted set has been stolen from a LEGO fan.

Devon Live reports that the contents of a LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon box has been stolen from a house in Newton Abbot, with police appealing for information. In this bizarre case, the bricks themselves were removed from the box and replaced with other items to give the illusion that the packaging was still full.

The local press provides more details:

The incident took place between midnight on September 20 and 4.30pm on November 26. The collector’s item is worth more than £1,000.

PC Phil Johnson said: “The victim is extremely upset about this incident. It is a very rare Star Wars Lego product that contains 7,500 pieces.

“It is likely he will never get the opportunity to purchase one again. It is not about the monetary value of the loss, but the fact that this was a collector’s edition.

“Anyone with information should contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting crime reference number CR/103058/17.”

Unfortunately this is not the only LEGO related crime that has made the news recently, as Fairy Bricks had sets intended for sick children stolen from a delivery van.
