LEGO BOOST 17101 Creative Toolbox details

This morning the LEGO Group unveiled LEGO BOOST, a new robotics product aimed at a younger audience than the existing Mindstorms brand. The company has now shared more information, revealing 17101 Creative Toolbox and what the set will comprise of.

Additional details are also provided:

• Includes over 840 LEGO® pieces, plus a LEGO Move Hub, Interactive Motor and a Color & Distance Sensor.
• Move Hub features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, two encoded motors, activation button, internal tilt sensor and a light.
• Interactive Motor is an encoded motor.
• Color & Distance Sensor detects distance, motion and color, and can also function as a light.

The new gadget is scheduled for release in August.
