LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2016 exclusive minifigure revealed
The LEGO Group has today unveiled the first of two rumoured exclusive minifigures for this month’s San Diego Comic-Con. The HYDRA variant of Captain America joins a long list of sought-after Marvel Super Heroes characters. There’s no word yet on how many minifigures are being produced for SDCC, but as always, mere attendance doesn’t guarantee getting your hands on one.
If you want to try your luck, however, you can head to the Pavilion Terrace at 12.30pm every day to enter an instant prize draw. Once they’re gone, they’re gone, so you’ll want to head over there first thing to have any possibility of securing your minifigure. If you’re not attending the Con, there’ll be an even smaller chance for you to get your hands on one through the LEGO Group’s official Twitter account – look out for the #LEGOSDCC hashtag on July 22-24.
The DC Super Heroes equivalent is yet to be revealed, but word has it that we’ll be seeing a minifigure of The Atom from The CW’s superhero shows, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Stay tuned for further SDCC news as we get it…

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

Same here, so the chances of getting this for my collection are zero. It’s a shame as this just makes all those imitations that much more appealing.
