LEGO World Record attempt taking place in Liverpool tomorrow

LEGO fans in Liverpool may want to check out a rather big build challenge that’s taking place tomorrow, with expert LEGO builders looking to set a Guinness World Record and build the largest LEGO brick wind turbine ever. Three LEGO Certified Professionals from three countries have collaborated on this project – Duncan Titmarsh, Georg Schmitt and Balázs Dóczy.

The festivities are taking place at the Liverpool One Shopping Centre, where the LEGO Group’s Tim Brooks, Vice President of Environmental Responsibility will oversee the unveiling alongside Guinness World Records adjudicators. Local schoolchildren are being invited to check out the event and get a chance for a selfie with LEGO Batman.

Just how big this wind turbine is will become clear tomorrow, so Liverpudlians should take a look en route to the local LEGO Store.
