Martian Explorer minifigure winner

The past two weeks in conjunction with minifigs.me we have been running a competition to win an exclusive minifigs.me minifigure. All you had to do was answer a question about the British astronaut Tim Peake to be in the draw to win. We had hundreds of entries but not all of them were correct.

The question was:

What special event is Tim Peake doing while on board the ISS

The answer I was looking for was:

Running the London Marathon.

The reason I picked this was due to my running passion and fact this year it’s also the Olympics and I will be taking part in the 10000m Olympic trials in May and I’ve done the London marathon myself. Tim will become the first man to run a marathon in space when he takes on the challenge of the Digital Virgin Money London Marathon by running the 26.2 miles on a treadmill as the ISS orbits the earth on Sunday 24 April (and to also raise awareness for The Prince’s Trust).
