Minifigs.me in Space!

My local friends at minifigs.me who are also based in Sheffield posted some awesome news regarding their custom minifigures and British astronaut Tim Peake. Here is what they posted on Facebook earlier:

“Sometimes our work ends up in REALLY interesting places! For example, here’s six of our minifigures, orbiting the Earth aboard the International Space Station!

British astronaut Tim Peake asked us to make them as gifts for his fellow crew members and took them up with him in December.

I’m not sure we can even tell you how exciting this is for us!!!

We’ll be at the National Space Centre this weekend at an amazing LEGO show, so why not pop along and say hello, and check out Tim Peake’s LEGO doppleganger in person? smile emoticon
