There are few rides more thrilling than tearing through the woods on a snowmobile. While a fire snowmobile seems like it would rarely – if ever – be needed, this is a delightful little model that looks like it will be getting an attachment on its front before the CITY Advent Calendar is over.

Today our second mini-doll joins Emma for whatever holiday delights are in store over the next 19 days. This isn’t one of the core group of girls that makeup LEGO Friends, but she has a delightful festive outfit that conveys holiday cheer.

When these pieces fall from the bag, they are unlikely to inspire excitement. So it’s a great surprise when 10 pieces later, a great micro model is in hand. Perfectly scaled, this adorable little gun will have fans eager to build an entire Hoth diorama at this scale.

Each day, we will compare the three builds and pick the best.

Today’s winning model was a close call, between the Hoth turret and Fire snowmobile. LEGO Star Wars just squeaks it, thanks to the dorky grin it evokes when complete.

CITY: 1

When I was 3 years old my dad bought home 6659 TV Camera Crew as a gift — he had no idea what he had just unleashed. Three decades and no dark age later, I am still going strong. My love of LEGO led me to a career in Civil Engineering and I am now raising three budding LEGO lovers with my lovely wife who is, bless her, a huge supporter of my brick addiction. When not writing for Brick Fanatics or fulfilling my duties as the U.S. Editor of Blocks Magazine I enjoy collecting, MOCing, exhibiting, as well as running, climbing and home improvement.
