Special anniversary modular set rumoured for 2017

Next year marks ten years since the LEGO Group released 10182 Cafe Corner, and there’s a rumour that to mark the occasion a special set will be released. If you have gotten over the realisation that it has been a whole decade since the AFOL targeted sets launched to fill a desired demand, the next shock is the rumoured price tag of 2,699 DKK.

The Brick Fan suggests that 10255 Assembly Square will be the special modular release in January 2017, suggesting something of a centerpiece for the sets that have been released up to now. The likelihood of this coming to pass seems strong, as Brickset is also listing the set in the site’s database.

Until official confirmation is received, this information should be treated as a rumour.
