The best LEGO deals this week

The weekend has arrived, and it’s time to treat yourself to some LEGO sets – so why spend more than you have to?

Unfortunately, 40290 60 Years of the LEGO Brick is out of stock at shop.LEGO.com. Thankfully, a new special set is available. For the first time, the Lunar New Year set – this time, 40235 Year of the Dog – is available around the world. The set is free with any order over £80, and 21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V is actually in stock – so that could be the set to go for.

Another deal at shop.LEGO.com is double points on any LEGO Star Wars purchases for those who have the special edition Star Wars VIP card. For everyone else, there are double VIP points on 75201 First Order AT-ST and 75534 Darth Vader.

The place to be this week is Smyths Toys, where big, uncommon sets have decent discounts. These range from LEGO Star Wars 75159 Death Star, reduced from to £399.99 to £349.99, to LEGO Ideas 21310 Old Fishing Store, reduced from £129.99 to £109.99. Excellent savings are also available on LEGO Technic 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, down from £259.99 to £199.99 and The LEGO NINJAGO Movie 70620 NINJAGO City, down from £259.99 to £199.99.

As always, a few discounts are worth checking out at Amazon. With new Power Functions on the way, LEGO City 60051 High Speed Passenger Train has been reduced from £99.99 to £74.99. It is also a good time to pick up LEGO Star Wars 75187 BB-8, reduced from £84.99 to £69.98.

All of the deals listed here are available while stocks last, so readers should be quick if there is a particularly appealing price. To help support the work of Brick Fanatics, please place your orders through our affiliate links – it allows us to keep bringing you the latest LEGO reviews, news and builds.
