The Force Awakens to join Star Wars Miniland at LEGOLAND

The LEGOLAND California Resort is set to expand Star Wars Miniland next year, with a series of scenes re-created in LEGO bricks based on The Force Awakens. It will be the first LEGOLAND location in the world to add scenes from the recent Star Wars movie to the walk through attraction. The expansion is due to be completed in March 2017.

Fox 5 San Diego report that the new scenes will be:

Kylo Ren’s capture of Poe at planet Jakku;
Rey’s rescue of BB-8; Poe and Finn’s escape from the Star Destroyer Finalizer;
The wreck of Finn and Poe’s TIE Fighter;
Rey, Finn and BB-8’s escape from Niima Outpost;
The escape from the Starship Graveyard.

There are also plans to increase the size of the water park and add NINJAGO themed rooms to the LEGOLAND Hotel.
