$100 LEGO DC set 76209 rumoured

A $100 LEGO DC set may be released in the future as a new rumour has surfaced, with many projects from the superhero franchise on the way.

Instagram user lego_fulcrum is reporting that a LEGO DC set with the number 76209 is coming in the future with a $99.99 price tag. There’s no word on when the build will release or what property under the DC umbrella it could be based on, but there are a few cinematic superhero projects out in 2022 that might give us an idea.

Although the rumoured model is not officially confirmed and not mentioned to be launching in 2022, the user noted that the report was a Happy New Year 2022 gift to their followers.

Currently, four LEGO DC sets based on The Batman are now available worldwide on the official online store as the first builds in the theme for 2022. These include 42127 The Batman – Batmobile, 76179 Batman & Selina Kyle Motorcycle Pursuit, 76181 Batmobile: The Penguin Chase and 76183 Batcave: The Riddler Face-off.

Also out this year from DC are Black Adam, The Flash and the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom sequel films, as potential source material for the rumoured set.
