LEGO Disney Raya and the Last Dragon sets officially revealed

The LEGO Group has officially unveiled three brand new sets for Disney’s animated film Raya and the Last Dragon.

We’ve technically seen all of these sets before, but this is the first time we’ve had official, hi-res imagery of each one. They’re not on LEGO.com yet, but you can expect to see them there soon, as they’re due to launch on March 1.

That’s just four days ahead of the movie’s debut on Disney+ Premier Access, which may well be the closest any LEGO sets have launched to the release date of their corresponding film (though don’t quote us on that).

As is the norm for Disney-themed sets (beyond huge direct-to-consumer models like 71040 Disney Castle and 71044 Disney Train and Station), the colourful Raya and the Last Dragon models include mini-dolls rather than minifigures, and are targeted at younger builders.

Check out all the new sets below. We’ve only got their US prices so far, but we’ll let you know their UK and Euro prices as soon as we can.

43181 Raya and the Heart Palace
610 pieces | $79.99

43184 Raya and Sisu Dragon
216 pieces | $29.99

43185 Boun’s Boat
247 pieces | $49.99

All three LEGO Disney Raya and the Last Dragon sets will launch on March 1. There’s also at least one polybag on the way for the movie, though the release and general availability of that set has yet to be confirmed.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
