LEGO NINJAGO magazine Issue 72 available now

The latest issue of the LEGO NINJAGO magazine is now available at all good retailers, offering another way to pick up last year’s Spinjitzu Burst Lloyd minifigure.

Immediate Media’s LEGO NINJAGO magazine is one of the publisher’s oldest-running brick-based titles, with this month’s issue marking six full years of the officially-licensed mag.

As always, Issue 72 includes plenty to keep the kids happy – including activities, puzzles, posters and comics – while there’s also a foil-bagged freebie attached to the cover. That minifigure will likely be the main draw for older fans, and you can take a closer look at this month’s freebie by clicking here.

Next month’s issue will drop the Spinjitzu Burst theme in favour of a free Zane minifigure, who comes equipped with an ice shield and ice crossbow. They’re probably not the most practical of weapons, but they are very cool. (Sorry not sorry.)

Unusually, there’s no firm date for when Issue 73 will hit shelves, so we’ll just have to wait and see. That could be indicative of the magazine moving away from monthly releases after six years, or it could simply be that external factors (say, a global pandemic) have interrupted production of the LEGO NINJAGO magazine.

Either way, you should have plenty of time to pick up Issue 72.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
