LEGO adds colour options to multiple Creator sets at LEGO.com

The LEGO Group has updated its product pages for two Creator sets – including 10271 Fiat 500 – with colour selectors, teasing the imminent release of its recoloured models.

We already know at least one new colour variant of the Creator Expert car is on the way, swapping cool yellow for light blue, along with two new options for 31058 Mighty Dinosaurs. Alongside the current green 3-in-1 set, you’ll soon be able to choose from either dark blue or brown for your prehistoric pieces.

What we didn’t yet have confirmation on was when and how these new flavours would be available to buy, but the colour selector listed on LEGO.com’s product pages for 10271 Fiat 500 and 31058 Mighty Dinosaurs suggests that they’re going to launch very soon – and you’ll be able to order them directly through official channels, just like any other set.

This news also confirms that the variants will be available to purchase alongside the current sets, rather than instead of them, as surmised from the fact the original models aren’t due to retire this year. For now, only the original yellow and green options for the two Creator sets are available to select on their individual product pages, but expect to see the new colours added very soon.
