More images of LEGO Batman 76239 Batmobile Tumbler Scarecrow Showdown
Amazon has published clearer images of LEGO Batman 76239 Batmobile Tumbler Scarecrow Showdown, giving us a better look at its brand new Scarecrow minifigure.
Based on Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, the smallest of the two new Tumblers brings us our first minifigure of Cillian Murphy’s Scarecrow, alongside an updated version of the Batsuit from 2014’s 76023 The Tumbler.
The 422-piece set was originally revealed by Japanese retailer Yodobashi last night, but with only tiny, low-res images. Amazon has now published larger pictures of 76239 Batmobile Tumbler Scarecrow Showdown, so we can get a better idea of what to expect from one of only a handful of DC sets for 2021.
As well as the tank-like Batmobile itself – which already looks like the most accurate version of the vehicle we’ve had at this scale – these pics give us a closer look at Batman’s alternate ‘nightmare’ head, representing the character’s appearance after he’s been poisoned by Scarecrow’s toxins.
While 76239 Batmobile Tumbler Scarecrow Showdown was apparently briefly available to pre-order from Amazon US for $39.99, with a launch date of October 1, it’s now showing as ‘currently unavailable’ – as is 76240 Batmobile Tumbler, the larger version of the vehicle that’s due to debut on November 1.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
