The new LEGO Star Wars Battles game is out today

After a lengthy wait, LEGO Star Wars Battles is out as the latest game based on the franchise, including characters and sets from across the galaxy.

As reported previously, LEGO Star Wars Battles is now available for download today, September 24 as the most recent title from TT Games that is finally receiving a full release. For those unfamiliar with the story so far, the game was in early access for some time before being seemingly cancelled. EA had acquired the developer for the title at the time, leaving TT Games to finish the work and get it published through Warner Bros. Games.

Now, two years after the initial announcement, Apple Arcade is the new home of LEGO Star Wars battles as an exclusive release to the platform.

“LEGO Star Wars Battles offers fans a new way to experience the playful appeal of LEGO Star Wars on their Apple devices,” said Jason Avent, Studio Head, TT Games Brighton. “It’s easy to pick up and play while also offering deep strategy in deck building and innovative territory capture for more experienced players.”

With Microfighter models and recognisable minifigures such as Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Chewbacca and more, players with a compatible Apple device can now download the title from the App Store.

It joins LEGO Brawls as the second exclusive Apple Arcade game based on the bricks, with LEGO Builder’s Journey now widely released on other platforms.
