New LEGO Brand Store finally opens in Bonn following renovation delays

Following some slight renovation delays, the new LEGO Brand Store in the German city of Bonn has now fully opened its doors to the public.

As previously reported, new LEGO Brand Stores have been in development in both Bonn and Dresden in Germany this year. With the latter having opened its doors last month, the Bonn LEGO Brand Store has now started welcoming LEGO fans inside with a huge range of products, in-store offers and VIP promotions.

German LEGO fans were able to pick up a buildable LEGO Store employee set with a printed Bonn tile — a similar set was available at the opening of the Dresden store. They were also able to get their hands on 40305 LEGO Brand Store, as well as the recently-announced LEGO Creator 40488 Coffee Cart gift-with-purchase.

One highlight of the LEGO Brand Store in Bonn is a large bust of German composer Beethoven (who was born there), which greets visitors at the entrance. Instagram user promobricks was at the store on opening day to take pictures of the bust, displays and promotions.

The LEGO Group is also planning a third new shop in Germany, which will open in the Mall of Berlin on December 2, a short distance from the city’s current LEGO Store and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
