LEGO Star Wars Attack of the Clones accessory set rumoured for 2022

A LEGO Star Wars Clone Trooper and Hoth Rebel Trooper accessory set could be coming next year as rumours suggest sets for army-building.

Instagram user lego_club_news is back with another rumour for the previously reported LEGO Star Wars accessory packs. The last rumoured information stated that two accessory packs would release under the LEGO Star Wars banner in January 2022, though nothing more was said at the time.

However, the user is now reporting that the first of these will be named 40558 Star Wars Accessory Set and be based on the second chronological episode of the franchise, Attack of the Clones. It is mentioned to possibly include three armed Clone Troopers a forward post and an accessory rifle pack, making it potentially perfect for army-building.

The second is rumoured to be 40557 Star Wars Accessory Set and be based on the battle of Hoth. Similar to the first, it is said to feature three minifigures depicting Hoth Rebel Troopers and three builds for a 1.4 FD-P Tower and two repeating blaster cannons. For those unfamiliar, the former is the weaponry that resembles satellite dishes in The Empire Strikes Back and the latter likely depict large black rifles on stands from the same movie.

Both are reported as priced at $14.99 and releasing January 1, 2022. The latter could pair well with displays for Star Wars 75313 AT-AT should these rumours be true. However, none of this has been officially confirmed and they should be treated with caution until the LEGO Group makes an announcement.
