New Thor: Love and Thunder figures hint at LEGO minifigure design

A pair of figures Thor: Love and Thunder have been revealed, hinting at potential future designs for rumoured LEGO Marvel minifigures.

At least two LEGO sets based on Thor: Love and Thunder have already been confirmed for later this year in a consumer catalogue. Both Jane Foster and Thor have been confirmed as key characters in the upcoming film. As part of the merchandise for the movie, Bandai has revealed two figures based on the pair as they appear in Thor: Love and Thunder as part of their SH Figuarts range.

With these two characters playing a key role in the film, it’s probably that they will receive minifigures in at least one of the confirmed sets. The newly-revealed figures might be giving us our first look at the designs that will inspire the minifigures.

Thor’s updated armour uses a mix of blue, silver, black and gold for a more colourful design than previous iterations of the character’s outfit. Jane Foster’s figure is referred to as Mighty Thor on the SH Figuarts website and wears a helmet with silver armour.

Current rumours suggest that one of the Thor: Love and Thunder sets will be named 76208 The Goat Boat. With the film arriving on July 8, we’ll likely know more about the Thor Love and Thunder LEGO Marvel models before then, though nothing has been confirmed beyond the consumer catalogue.
