A better look at LEGO Star Wars 75278 D-O

More images of LEGO Star Wars 75278 D-0 provide a clearer look at this upcoming droid set and show off the many interesting angles.

Yesterday saw the LEGO Group unveil LEGO Star Wars 75287 D-0 at New York Toy Fair. The 519 piece set is a sculpture of D-0, the new droid introduced in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Priced at $69.99, the set will be released on April 19.

D-0 has a unique shape, with a wheel at the bottom of the robot allowing it to roll around, but while the wheel moves, the head remains upright. This is clearly not an easy shape to replicate in LEGO bricks, yet the LEGO design team has managed to do so.

These additional images from Zusammengebaut show the set from multiple angles, giving a good indication of how the shape has been executed. The box art is also shown.

LEGO Marvel Spider-Man 76151 Venomosaurus Ambush, LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 20, LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian 75292 The Razor Crest, 75317 The Mandalorian & The Child, LEGO Star Wars 75287 D-0 and LEGO Minions have been revealed at new York Toy Fair.
