LEGO City aeroplane sets unveiled in official images

New official images of the summer LEGO sets have revealed new air-themed released.

A new wave of LEGO City sets, first announced at International Toy Fair, will feature ocean based sets and air based sets. Two of the upcoming air sets have been revealed in official images by jbnet. They are expected to be released on June 1.

60260 Air Race is a 4+ release, that is made up of a buildable aeroplane and two quite gimmicky helicopters. The helicopters have a ripcord function allowing them to fly, with the main chassis also looking like only one or two moulded elements.

60261 Central Airport is also a 4+ set, featuring a simple aeroplane and airport, as well as a couple of small vehicles. There are six minifigures included in the set as well.
