LEGO City 60271 Main Square gets official announcement

More images showing LEGO City 60271 Main Square have been shared as part of the official product announcement.

It turned up over a week ago in Billund, Denmark, but now LEGO City 60271 Main Square has been officially announced by the LEGO Group. The 1,517 piece set inspired by LEGO City Adventures offers fans the opportunity to anchor their City layout with some key locations.

The set will be released on September 1.

Budding builders can truly immerse themselves in the LEGO® City world and enjoy endless hours of imaginative play, with this brand-new 1,517-piece set. Whether it’s a visit to City Hall, a quick journey on the Tram, enjoying a bite to eat at the Classic Diner or singing your heart out on the Concert Stage – LEGO City Main Square’s collection of detailed buildings and realistic toy vehicles provide everything inspiring builders need to experience the energy of day-to-day city life.

Key minifigures from the animated series are included, with 14 in total, so that families can recreate key scenes, especially those from “Slam the Door”.

The set includes the facade of a town hall building, a park, a monorail (no track or motors), a live music stage, a burger bar, a limousine, a police quad bike, a getaway cycle and a helicopter.
