LEGO Disney, DOTS and Friends polybags revealed for 2021

Polybag collectors will have new toys to hunt down in 2021, from LEGO themes including Disney, DOTS and Friends.

Promobricks has uncovered official images of a huge assortment of new polybag models, all of which are due to arrive in 2021. As is always the case with polybags, their availability will likely vary – some you’ll probably be able to buy outright, while others may appear as promotional sets.

Every Disney polybag released so far has paired a character with a small build, and 30391 Rapunzel’s Boat isn’t about to buck that trend. It is going to surpass it, though: alongside the eponymous princess and her boat, 30391 also includes a tiny Pascal from Disney’s Tangled.

30557 Photo Holder Cube is a pint-sized DOTS accessory, perfect for holding… your passport photo, perhaps? There’s a great helping of decorative tiles among its 109 parts, although none of them appear to be printed, save for those eye elements.

This 2-in-1 Friends polybag includes a mini-doll, micro-doll and a two-in-one build. You can’t really go wrong for the size of the set, particularly if you’re able to buy 30413 Flower Cart outright.

Promobricks has also found images of LEGO Classic, Creator, DUPLO, CITY, Speed Champions, Minecraft, Star Wars, NINJAGO and Technic polybags, all of which will launch in 2021.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
