Another sweet LEGO Ideas project, The House of Chocolate, hits 10,000 supports

LEGO Ideas shows no sign of slowing down today as yet another project reaches 10,000 supporters, taking a particularly chocolatey build through the review stage.

After an X-Files project reached 10,000 supporters early this morning, another LEGO Ideas project has hit the coveted amount of support needed to potentially become a real LEGO set.

This time the project is The House of Chocolate by Lepralego, making this their first time hitting 10,000 supporters. The project proposes a chocolate factory building with full interior, demonstrating how the sweet treat is made whilst paying tribute to a past LEGO set.

The approximately 2,700-piece build includes 7 minifigures and 4 rooms in a two-storey building, all contained on one LEGO baseplate. Downstairs, a small café seats and treats customers while the ‘chocomel’ shop sells a variety of sugary souvenirs.

Upstairs is the factory where the cocoa beans are grinded, the liquor is mixed and the chocolate is moulded, a process that has been recreated with LEGO bricks, including the necessary machinery and room for minifigures to operate the system.

Lepralego mentions that this project is a tribute to 1620 Chocolate Factory which also contained a ‘chocomel’ shop and features some animations of the LEGO chocolate-making process on the project page.

This project is the sixth in the most recent round of the LEGO Ideas review. Here are all the projects in the running for the latest LEGO Ideas review:

The House of Chocolate
The X-Files: I Want to Believe
Castle of Lord Afol and the Black Knights
Among Us: The Skeld Detailed Map
The Office
The Shire
