Magical Village Over The Bridge reaches 10K on LEGO Ideas

The second LEGO Ideas project to reach 10,000 votes in one day is Magical Village Over The Bridge, which now moves on to the review stage.

The North Pole-themed model is the creation of Lepralego, who previously submitted designs for Brick Walk and The House of Chocolate to LEGO Ideas, although neither managed to reach the final approval stage.

Lepralego states that the set was constructed from approximately 2,100 LEGO pieces, including three minifigures, a few visits to the Pick a Brick wall at his local LEGO Store and a couple of BrickLink orders.

“Last month I had a dream in which I was walking across an endless stoney bridge,” says Lepralego. “On this bridge, there were abandoned houses that I was leaving behind without worrying about what might be inside. What is the meaning of this type of dream? I don’t know, maybe my psychologist could give me some hint on it… But I kept that idea in my mind. Some days later, with Christmas season coming, I thought of using this idea of a village over a bridge in a festive and magical way. Then I started to make some sketches…”
