Remember the Action Battle sets? LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does

One of the 2019 Action Battle sets appears in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, reminding us how long it has been in development.

In a new video exploring the worlds and locations in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, an all-but-forgotten line of LEGO Star Wars models makes a cameo as a challenge in the title, as an example of its lengthy production time.

Appearing towards the end of the developer video, 75241 Action Battle Echo Base Defence, can be found within Echo Base as a shooting challenge, complete with the red and blue targets, AT-AT, and even the launcher.

Whether the other two Action Battle sets, 75239 Action Battle Hoth Generator Attack and 75238 Action Battle Endor Assault, could also appear as interactive activities in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has not been confirmed, though another on Hoth and one on Endor might not be out of the realm of possibility.

With 75241 Action Battle Echo Base Defence launching in 2019, it has since been retired. Its inclusion might not make much sense from a product-promotion view in 2022, though when considering that the title was supposed to launch in 2020 and was developed during 2019, you might understand why it features in the game.

No further Action Battle models have been released since 2019, but at least their legacy lives on in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga when it launches on April 5.
