Channel the spirit of BIONICLE with three new LEGO Marvel action figures

Missing LEGO BIONICLE? Check out these three new LEGO Marvel action figures, which bridge the gap between constraction and System – and are available now.

Launching today are three follow-up figures to this year’s 76206 Iron Man Figure, all anchored around the Spider-Verse. They each come in £10 / $15 / €10 cheaper than Tony Stark’s armour, and use considerably fewer pieces to achieve their respective characters, but don’t appear to immediately suffer for that reduced budget.

This trio of characters includes Spider-Man, Miles Morales and Venom, all of whom have been represented a bunch of times as LEGO minifigures. If this subtheme of Marvel figures continues, though, there’s plenty of scope to expand within and beyond the web-slinger and his rogues’ gallery.

Here’s a quick round up of all the new LEGO Marvel sets available from today, September 1, which also includes the second-ever superhero advent calendar.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
