Will Boba Fett’s Starship appear in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga?

A social media post has revealed that at least one version of Boba Fett’s infamous vehicle will appear in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

When LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga arrives next month, it will be packed with plenty of worlds to explore, hundreds of characters to unlock, multiple side quests to tackle and much more. There’s no denying that the long-awaited TT Games title is eagerly-anticipated by fans who’ve had to wait years for what could be the biggest LEGO video game experience to date.

One feature that should excite LEGO fans is the inclusion of a number of LEGO Star Wars vehicles in the game. These will span the breadth of the entire nine movies, with the chance to pilot such ships as the Millennium Falcon, X-wings, Jedi Starfighters and many others.

Now, a recent post on the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s social media accounts has revealed that the game will also include at least one version of Boba Fett’s Starship… or is that Slave 1? We’ve already seen the notorious bounty hunter’s ship in trailers for the game, but this new image is especially intriguing as it shows the 75243 Slave 1 – 20^thAnniversary Edition model.

What’s unusual about that is that since the set was released, the vehicle has since been renamed and a new model has been available in the shape of 2019’s 75312 Boba Fett’s Starship. Of course, it’s entirely possible that the Slave 1 model was created much earlier in the game’s development, before Disney renamed the ship, so why then include the ship as part of the latest marketing material for the game?

It could be that both 75243 Slave 1 – 20^th Anniversary Edition and 75312 Boba Fett’s Starship will both be unlockable in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, although it would be unusual for two versions of the same ship to be included. The social media post states, ‘Every bounty hunter needs a trusted ship,’ so we’ll just have to wait until next month to see if the mystery is resolved.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available to pre-order now and will be unleashed on the galaxy on April 5.
