Today marks the 90th birthday of conductor, musician and film composer extraordinaire, Maestro John Williams. Winner of five Academy Awards and known for providing scores to some of the most iconic films in cinematic history, Williams has worked with Spielberg since 1974 and has been soundtracking our lives since the late 50s.

Star Wars, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Home Alone, Superman, Indiana Jones, and ET are just some of the 100+ scores he’s created. Thank you for the music and a very happy birthday Maestro.

As a child, Lego was always my favourite toy and now as an adult it appears nothing has changed. I emerged from my dark ages in 2011 after rediscovering my old sets in my parents' attic and haven't looked back since.
I'm a big fan of the licensed themes particularly DC/Marvel Superheroes & Lord Of The Rings, though Creator Expert provides the more challenging & technical build I'm rather fond of.
