Build your way to Le Mans 2016 with LEGO® Speed Champions and Porsche

By winning Le Mans in 2015, Porsche’s dream came true. Now, Porsche and LEGO® Speed Champions pass on the chance to experience the glorious win to fans around the globe in the form of a stop-motion contest.

LEGO® fans, racing enthusiasts and brickfilmers alike are challenged to create their dream race in LEGO® stop-motion. The winner will win the ultimate Le Mans prize that will make any Porsche fan’s dream come true.

The challenge is to continue the story of the Porsche dream race video and show a creative and original version of how the race will be won. The LEGO® Speed Champions team and Porsche encourage all participants to be original and creative in their stop-motion videos and will reward the grand prize winner with VIP tickets for two to Le Mans 2016 including travel and accommodation as well as exclusive access to the Porsche hospitality area.

Design Manager Specialist for LEGO® Speed Champions Craig Callum explains:

“We are very excited to kick-off this exclusive contest together with Porsche! Like winning Le Mans, it takes skill, practice, endurance, and creativity to become a Speed Champion. We believe this is a great match with LEGO® Speed Champions and we cannot wait to see what amazing races will be shared for this contest.”

Le Mans 2016 takes place on June 18th -19th and is the 84th edition of the ultimate endurance race that gathers racing enthusiasts from all around the world.

“We are hoping the winner of the contest will be free for those days in June… Jokes aside, this might be one of the biggest prizes we have ever had in a contest and we look forward to sending the lucky winner and a companion to this once-in-a-lifetime experience” Craig elaborates.

Two runner-ups will also be selected by the panel of judges and rewarded with the full 2016 LEGO® Speed Champions assortment.

The contest launched March 1st and the deadline to enter is May 2nd 2016 10:00AM CET. The contest is open to everyone who is minimum 13 years of age at the date of entry.
