Celebrate five years of the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon with Brick Fanatics

From the things it did first to the sets that could one day replace it, here’s a complete round-up of all our celebrations of LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon for its fifth anniversary.

Initially arriving on shelves all the way back in September 2017 for VIP members, or October 2017 for everyone else, 75192 Millennium Falcon was – at the time – the biggest LEGO set to date, and remains to this day the most expensive (albeit tied with 75313 AT-AT). It’s a set well worth championing even five years on, not least because it’s still available to purchase – and seemingly will be for a good while yet.

Over the past week, we’ve been celebrating all things UCS Millennium Falcon with a series of in-depth features, chronicling everything from how the ship changed LEGO forever to ways it could still be improved. It’s as comprehensive a look at the Corellian freighter as you could ask for, right through to the critique that asks whether it really is still the ultimate LEGO Star Wars set in 2022.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
