Celebrities visited the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort during the opening of the Christmas season at the theme park.
On December 1, the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort re-opened for a series of special LEGO Christmas dates. The day saw a number of celebrities turn out to check out the festive fun, with Olympian Zara Tindall, Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock, The Saturday’s Frankie Bridge, TV presenter Denise Van Outen and Strictly’s Graeme Swann all turning up to check out a LEGO brick Santa Claus.
Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock brought her sister, niece and nephews along to check out the rides and Christmas attractions. Graeme Swann took a break from the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom to enjoy the new seasonal displays that will be available on select dates in December.
As well as 30 rides and attractions that are open during the Christmas dates, LEGO brick built decorations include an eight metre Christmas tree, life-sized reindeer, Santa Claus and festive Miniland scenes. Over 300,000 LEGO bricks are used in the Christmas tree, which is the centrepiece of the festive celebration. Guests at the theme park are invited to build their own festive decorations to take home. The reindeer use 126,000 bricks while Santa Claus combines 54,000 pieces.
Tickets to the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort are available from the official website.
