Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that construction is soon to get underway on The LEGO Movie World.
Things will need to move to schedule, as The LEGO Movie World is due to open Spring 2019, when the Florida based LEGOLAND becomes the first in the world to have the movie inspired area.

“It will be most immersive world yet. There will be three rides and one is going to be the new theming for The Quest for Chi, a boat ride, and the other two rides have not yet been announced,” the theme park’s spokesperson, Brittany Williams told the publication.

The construction site will span 1.24 acres, with two small attractions set to be removed to make space for the two new rides. One will be a 5,564-square-foot “new outdoor ride” as well as a “new ride building.” An 858-square-foot “new activities building” is also listed.
