Der Erste LEGO Marvel Galactus and Fantastic Four set is now on shelves, and not everyone is impressed with the execution, but there’s an easy fix.
76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Konstruktionsfigur ist unser erstes LEGO Fantastic Four set, and it comes complete with a Galactus figure. Some fans weren’t entirely drawn to the new set upon its reveal, thanks partially to the minifigures and how Galactus has been depicted.
Galactus follows in the footsteps of Ant-Man, who has gone from being depicted as a massive minifigure in LEGO Marvel to a buildable figure. This is the new standard for LEGO Marvel, and Galactus has followed suit. While big minifigure Ant-Man only appeared in a single set, some in the community were hoping that Galactus would go down the alternative path.
Thankfully for them, you can turn Galactus into a matching upscaled minifigure using only parts from the set, and MadsEmilSchou is here to explain how. The fan has shared instructions for the alternate build on Rebrickable for the relatively low price of $1.99.
Their design keeps the head from 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Konstruktionsfigur and uses it to scale the rest of the figure accordingly, keeping the core aspects of the official design, but with the proportions of a minifigure.
It’s an excellent effort from MadsEmilSchou, but note that it will reduce the height of the figure from 28cm to 15.5cm. It only uses around half of the set’s 427 pieces, and nothing extra.
A provided picture demonstrates how the redesigned Galactus looks in a Stadt scene, and it still functions well enough for those who would prefer the minifigure design over that of the buildable figure.
