Lebensgroße LEGO Formel 1 startet zum Grand Prix von Miami
Das LEGO Group’s latest big build project has recreated the 10 LEGO Formula 1 Speed Champions sets in time for the Miami Grand Prix.
Wenn das LEGO Group teased that etwas Großes was coming to the Miami Grand Prix, they were being more literal than expected. Nearly 4,000,000 LEGO elements have been used to create 10 life-size LEGO Formula 1 cars, all based on their respective Speed Champions sets with the 2024 liveries.
Each car is 1:1 scale and uses nearly 400,000 pieces. They’re being displayed together at the Miami Grand Prix right now, and together they’re an incredible display and fun photo opportunity for Formula 1 fans visiting the race this weekend.
These are upscaled versions of the 10 LEGO Formula 1 Speed Champions 2025 sets, and the Red Bull team even showed off just how huge these cars are compared to the models that you can purchase now.
Das LEGO Group has tackled some huge Formula 1 models for previous races, but never anywhere nearly on this scale. With nearly 4,000,000 elements between the 10 cars, it’s one of the biggest LEGO build undertakings to our knowledge, as well.
While some quick comparisons to the Speed Champions sets have been made, a photo comparing the 10 life-sized cars, the 10 Speed Champions sets, and the 10 miniature models in 71049 F1-Rennwagen zum Sammeln would make for an incredible picture. Here’s hoping the LEGO Group or the F1 teams have the thought for such a picture before the Miami Grand Prix is over.
Those 10 LEGO Speed Champions sets are available now for each of the teams. Alternatively, those with less budget remaining after Möge der 4th might want to opt for the 10 71049 F1-Rennwagen zum Sammeln in the meantime.
