Designers present LEGO MINDSTORMS 51515 Robot Inventor in new video

The actual LEGO experts who worked on MINDSTORMS 51515 Robot Inventor show off the set in a new official video.

LEGO MINDSTORMS 51515 Robot Inventor launched at LEGO.com a few days ago, giving fans a modern way of creating incredible working robots within the LEGO system.

Brick Fanatics is giving away three LEGO MINDSTORMS sets to UK readers, each one worth £329.99. Check out the competition page here to find out how to win.

LEGO Senior Design Manager Daniel Meehan – who will be judging the competition – is joined by LEGO designers Morten Svendsen, Carl Merriam and Jorn Thomsen to present the set.

Five robots are demonstrated in the footage – Blast, Charlie, Tricky, Gelo and M.V.P. The Modular Vehicle Platform gets special attention, with Morten showing off just how versatile the platform is. “It’s a remote control vehicle which you can control with your phone or even a game controller.”

“One of the great things about M.V.P. is it’s a Modular Vehicle Platform, so you can take the extensions we’ve built here and you can rebuild them into something else. So Morten has rebuilt this into a shooter, so this just slots in, and then you connect up the cables, change your code and you’r ready to go with a brand new model.”
