Brilliant day-one discount on LEGO 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent at Zavvi

Zavvi is offering a very tempting day-one discount on the newly-released LEGO Creator 3-in-1 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent.

While it’s proving hard to come by in stores, 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent is available online, with a standard RRP of £104.99 in the UK. You can already beat that price by some distance at Zavvi, however, where the return of LEGO Vikings is available for just £89.99.

That’s a full £15 (or nearly 15%) off the standard price of the 3-in-1 set, which channels the spirit of 2005’s classic 7018 Viking Ship challenges the Midgard Serpent. It also matches the original RRP of previous Creator 3-in-1 sets like 31109 Pirate Ship and 31120 Medieval Castle, before the LEGO Group bumped them up in January 2022.

Day-one discounts are a rare thing in this day and age, when demand for LEGO sets regularly outpaces supply, and there’s no telling how long this deal will last at Zavvi. If you’re keen to take advantage, you can support Brick Fanatics by clicking through our affiliate link to snag your copy of 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent.

The 1,192-piece set offers three different builds from the one assortment of pieces, so you can construct either the eponymous ship, a Viking house and dragon, or an enormous Fenris wolf. (If you want to build all three simultaneously, you’ll need three copies of the set – a proposition also made more palatable by its price at Zavvi.)

Also included are four Viking minifigures, two of which sport the retro horned helmet from the original LEGO Vikings theme.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
