Disney Gallery: The Book of Boba Fett streaming on May 4

Star Wars fans looking for new content to watch can check out Disney Gallery: The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+ from May 4.

We still have over a month to go until the Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series arrives on Disney+, having recently been pushed back slightly to May 27. While they wait to see the former Jedi Master go head-to-head with his old pupil Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, fans can take a look behind the scenes at the making of the previous live-action Star Wars show.

A new documentary special will be arriving on the streaming channel on May 4 in the shape of Disney Gallery: The Book of Boba Fett and will explore how cast and crew worked together to bring the legendary bounty hunter’s story to life. The special is set to feature interviews with the filmmakers and show never-before-seen footage from the series.

Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett revealed what happened to the character following his swan dive into the Sarlacc Pit in Return of the Jedi. In the series he returned to the desert planet of Tatooine, working with fellow bounty hunter Fennec Shand to claim the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt.

The air date of the upcoming episode also ties in rather nicely with a whole host of upcoming LEGO Star Wars events. For starters this year’s May the Fourth event will be in full swing, with various promotional freebies and double VIP points up for grabs. In addition, the final LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga DLC will be dropping on the same day, with players able to download and play with The Mandalorian Season 2, The Bad Batch and The Trooper pack characters.

75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room is already available to purchase, with 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter releasing on June 1 for £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99.
