Disney Springs LEGO Store unveils massive mouse monument

The LEGO Store at Disney Springs seems to have replaced one of its oldest and biggest models with a new sculpture of the iconic Mickey Mouse.

Past visitors to the Disney Springs LEGO Store at Walt Disney World may remember that a massive build of Buzz, Woody and RC from Toy Story once stood outside of the entrance, recreating one of the movie’s most memorable scenes. It appears that the model’s days were numbered as a new statue has taken its place.

All Ears spotted the change on one of their regular visits to the resort’s retail area where they found the new build in the place of the older Toy Story one. This newer model depicts the sorcerer’s apprentice version of Mickey Mouse from Fantasia, where he stands atop a pillar controlling the waves as they crash against the stone.

This particular LEGO store tends to switch out the models fairly regularly with past builds including everything from Baby Yoda to Anna and Elsa from Frozen. The original Toy Story sculpture may return as it may simply require some repairs. Alternatively, this might be a permanent replacement for the entrance of the store.
