More Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness rumours emerge

With less than two months until its release, more tantalising Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness rumours have begun to emerge.

As the next Marvel Studios movie on the horizon, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has the potential to be even more epic than Spider-Man: No Way Home. In fact, rumours suggest that the film could build on the Spider-Man sequel even further with numerous potential cameos and surprises.

In an exclusive interview with Empire magazine, the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness cast and crew hint that there certainly may be more to the movie than initially meets the eye. When asked if a familiar off-camera voice heard in the trailers was indeed that of Patrick Stewart’s Professor Charles Xavier, producer Richie Palmer had an interesting response.

“I’ll quote the first X-Men movie and say, ‘Are you sure you saw what you saw?’,” laughs Palmer. “There are infinite versions of these characters, and just because you may have heard something familiar doesn’t mean it’s someone you have seen before.”

When it comes to sheer spectacle in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, star Benedict Cumberbatch doesn’t think fans will be disappointed.

“It’s a big, big movie,” promises Cumberbatch. “It’s going to be an absolute riot. And if it brings off the level of ambition it’s got, we’re going to have a success on the level of Spidey. There you go, I’ll put my flag in the sand.”

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to be released in cinemas from May 6. Only one LEGO Doctor Strange set has been released to date that ties directly in with the movie, the 264-piece 76205 Gargantos Showdown. The LEGO Group has yet to announce any additional future LEGO Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness sets so far.
