Next LEGO double VIP points event confirmed for February 2022
The date for the next LEGO double VIP points event has been confirmed, potentially proving a rumour for a March event as incorrect.
The official online store will officially host a double VIP points event before the end of February 2022 as confirmed in an email sent out to subscribers of the storefront’s newsletter.
The email confirms that from February 24 to February 28, all VIP members can claim double the usual credit on any purchases made on LEGO.com. This follows a previous rumour that stated that plans to host an event on those dates had changed in favour of March.
Unless this email was drafted and scheduled to be sent out before plans changed, this official announcement suggests that the report was incorrect or at the very least misinformed.
For now, it seems safe to assume that you should start getting your next official online store ready for February 24, but there is plenty of time to finish your purchases before the event ends for anyone who needs some extra time to make these important decisions.
Unlike the rumoured date of March 12 to 14, February 24 to 28 won’t last long enough to score you the March 1 releases with double points, unless there is an early launch in the closing hours of February 28, though this isn’t guaranteed for every new set.
As for what you can buy, January’s recent releases are still available as well as additional models launched earlier this month, including 10297 Boutique Hotel – the latest LEGO modular building.

This “rumor” was stated in an email to me from Lego that said March 12-14 for double points. We’ll all find out eventually which VIP time is correct.

Apparently an email went out today in the USA saying double points for those March dates, so looks like just Europe is getting double VIP this week.
