21314 TRON: Legacy is an excellent set, that looks very sleek on display. It has one minor flaw when sat on the shelf though – poor Quorra is just stood next to the well designed base, looking a little lost. The solution is clear – build an extra little section of base so that the character looks like she really belongs with the rest of the scene.

The great thing is, no specific size is required for the extra base section, so this is adaptable depending on the available parts. Begin with black plates, then add medium azure plates on top. For the final layer, use black plates with at least one jumper for a minifigure to stand on – leave a one stud wide row to fill in with trans light blue plates.
