October 2024 looks to be a good month for LEGO gifts-with-purchase in official stores, and there’s a lot to keep track of, including rumours.
As well as the many models launching next month, quite a few builds have been confirmed this week and there are rumours of two more for a total of five promotions officially from the LEGO Group worldwide. That’s a lot to stay up to date on.
To help you keep track of everything, here are the gifts-with-purchase currently confirmed or rumoured for October 2024. For context, a gift-with-purchase is a free set or item that is automatically added to your basket when you meet a certain threshold. Take all rumours with caution until official announcements are made.
40697 Halloween Pumpkin
According to Promobricks, 40697 Halloween Pumpkin is rumoured to be offered with purchases of €120 or more from October 1. No end date is rumoured, and that threshold could equal around £110 / $120, but that’s not confirmed.
Either way, October would be an ideal month for the gift-with-purchase that includes a light brick to illuminate the LEGO pumpkin, of which you can swap the carved face.
40698 Reading, Reading and Reading
LEGO Ideas 40698 Reading, Reading and Reading is rumoured for some point in October, though nothing more is known at the time of writing. Given the rest of this list, a launch later in October would make the most sense.
The LEGO Ideas set is on the way either way after being announced as the winner of the Singles’ Day contest back in July last year. The official set design has not yet been revealed but FR_AN's original project offers an idea of what to expect.
40728 Brite Bomber
The LEGO Fortnite 40728 Brite Bomber BrickHeadz will be available for LEGO Insiders from October 1 to 3, then to the general public from October 4 to 7 with any purchase of $90 or more, or while stocks last.
This gift-with-purchase should stack well with 40697 Halloween Pumpkin, 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge and 40730 Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber.
40730 Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber
40730 Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber will certainly be the most difficult gift-with-purchae to acquire. It’s only going to be available with purchases of the massive 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge between October 3 and 10 (or while stocks last).
Based on previous LEGO Star Wars gifts-with-purchase offered in a similar way, expect this build to sell out fast as collectors pick up 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge when early access for LEGO Insiders starts on October 3 before general sale on October 6.
Bricktober 2024
For enthusiasts in select regions, the annual Bricktober event is back in 2025 with four models up for grabs on select dates. You can find out more by clicking here but keep in mind that not everyone will be able to take advantage of this promotion.
