Every LEGO Marvel set confirmed and rumoured for 2022 – July update

More than 10 LEGO Marvel sets are still said to be on the way in 2022, so here’s a complete round-up of everything confirmed and rumoured for the superhero theme.

We’re just over halfway through the year now, and while most LEGO themes will run through the bulk of their remaining 2022 sets in August, there are still at least 10 LEGO Marvel sets rumoured that we haven’t seen yet. Among those are two supposedly wallet-busting direct-to-consumer models, a trio of buildable figures, and a brand new advent calendar.

We already know of at least two more LEGO Marvel sets hitting shelves in August, meanwhile, kicking off what could be a very packed second half of the year for Spider-Man, Iron Man and the gang. Here’s a brief overview of the full LEGO Marvel slate in 2022 as it stands at the time of writing, including all confirmed, released and rumoured sets.

76210 Hulkbuster

Did you miss out on 76105 The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition? Or do you wish your copy of it was, let’s say, twice the size? Good news: 76210 Hulkbuster is said to be coming later this year, weighing in at roughly 2,500 pieces for $299.99. That’s nearly twice the part count of the 2018 version, for more than double the cost. If reports are accurate, expect another collector’s plaque with this one.

76211 to 76214 [Black Panther: Wakanda Forever]

A German catalogue has confirmed that the upcoming Black Panther sequel will be getting the LEGO Marvel treatment, and it’s thought that a total of four sets will be launching in time for the movie:

76211 – $49.99
76212 – $9.99
76213 – $29.99
76214 – €79.99

There’s not much else to go on at this stage, but that’s already far more attention than the LEGO Group gave the first Black Panther movie.

76215 TBC

The identity of the rumoured third LEGO Marvel direct-to-consumer set has still yet to be revealed, but it’s shaping up to be the biggest of them all with a price tag of $499.99. There are plenty of options at that level, including a new Helicarrier or Avengers Tower – or even another Marvel modular building

76218 Sanctum Sanctorum

Speaking of modular buildings: one of two LEGO Marvel sets confirmed for the second half of 2022 is 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum, which brings us the biggest and best version of Doctor Strange’s residence to date. It’s also built in the same design language as the LEGO Group’s own Modular Buildings Collection, which means it should fit in nicely with last year’s 76178 Daily Bugle, too.

The three-storey building includes 2,708 pieces and nine minifigures, and you’ll be able to pick it up from August 1 for £214.99 / $249.99 / €249.99.

76223 Nano Gauntlet

Following on from last year’s 76191 Infinity Gauntlet is 76223 Nano Gauntlet, a set that looks like more than just a recolour of the original supersized glove. It’s packed with cool parts usage, for one, and also comes in a full £10 / €10 cheaper than its predecessor in the UK and Europe. That means 76223 Nano Gauntlet will cost just £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99 when it launches on August 1.

76225 Venom Figure, 76226 Spider-Man Figure, 76230 Miles Morales Figure

These three Spider-Man buildable figures are said to ape the format of January’s 76206 Iron Man Figure, albeit with fewer pieces and a smaller budget. They’ll likely be more organic than Tony Stark’s mechanical armour, however, and probably won’t need a light brick each – which could go some way to explaining these rumoured details:

76225 Venom Figure – 238 pieces, $19.99 / €19.99
76226 Spider-Man Figure – 258 pieces, $24.99 / €24.99
76230 Miles Morales Figure – 298 pieces, $19.99 / €19.99

76231 Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendar

This year’s LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar is thought to tie into the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which arrives on Disney+ in December. The calendar will likely hit shelves first in September – at least if history is any precedent – with a rumoured price tag of $44.99, which is just a bit higher than previous calendars. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
