Every LEGO set retiring in 2022 – August update

Here’s the latest update to the full list of LEGO sets retiring by the end of 2022, which – as expected – now includes four of this year’s five advent calendars.

Few LEGO sets enjoy such a brief availability window as the company’s seasonal sets, and specifically its advent calendars: they arrive on shelves in September, and are typically gone within just a couple of months. The same fate will befall 75340 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, 76404 LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar, 41706 LEGO Friends Advent Calendar and 60352 LEGO City Advent Calendar this year, with all four calendars due to retire by the end of 2022.

It seems incredibly likely that 76231 Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendar will follow in their footsteps, but this year’s festive Marvel set has yet to appear on LEGO.com, so we can’t say for sure at the moment. Elsewhere, a handful of LEGO sets’ retirement dates have shifted around this month, so dive into the full list below for the latest on which products to prioritise across the remainder of 2022.

LEGO Star Wars

The LEGO Group is getting ready for the holiday as it revealed 75340 Star Wars Advent Calendar earlier this year, and we now know that – as usual – it’s retiring at the end of 2022, making it a limited-edition model to collect.
