Every LEGO Star Wars 2021 set available from January 1

Four brand new LEGO Star Wars sets are now available to order from the official online LEGO store, including a new Mandalorian set and a smaller, cheaper TIE Fighter.

Today is January 1, a day that marks not only the start of a brand new year, but also the launch of dozens of new LEGO sets. Harry Potter, Marvel, CITY, Friends, NINJAGO, Technic and plenty of other themes are all basking in the glow of new releases, eager to eat up your post-Xmas LEGO budget.

Where Star Wars is concerned, though, January is a little light on releases. Just four new sets have arrived to mark the new year, including smaller, cheaper renditions of staples like the X-wing and TIE Fighter, and another model based on Star Wars: The Mandalorian. You can find them all by hitting the links below:

75295 Millennium Falcon Microfighter
75299 Trouble on Tatooine
75300 Imperial TIE Fighter
75301 Luke Skywalker’s X-wing Fighter

This doesn’t necessarily mean the LEGO Star Wars theme is scaling back for 2021, however. The theme seems to be following its own release pattern in recent years, with new arrivals staggered across multiple launch windows. We already know of at least three more sets on the way, for instance, in 75297 Resistance X-wing Starfighter, 75298 Tauntaun & AT-AT Microfighters and 75302 Imperial Shuttle.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
