Every LEGO Star Wars set retiring in 2022 and beyond – March update

Two LEGO Star Wars minifigure packs are now scheduled to retire earlier than originally anticipated, but you’ve got plenty of time to pick up one of this year’s most sought-after sets.

75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room has only just landed on shelves, and where that’s sometimes no guarantee of a lengthy lifespan, the first set based on The Book of Boba Fett – even if it is technically portraying a scene from The Mandalorian – is currently destined to be available until at least the end of 2023.

That’s good news for anyone with a backlog of LEGO Star Wars sets to get through first, but a couple of new releases should be finding their way up that list pretty soon: both 40557 Defence of Hoth and 40558 Clone Trooper Command Station are now scheduled to be gone by the end of 2022, a year earlier than their original retirement date.

Those are the major changes to the latest list of retiring LEGO Star Wars sets, which otherwise still suggests heavy hitters including 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer and 75277 Boba Fett Helmet will leave shelves in the next nine months. Check out the full rundown below, and remember that these dates are subject to change.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
