The full list of every LEGO Star Wars TIE Bomber created to date

For such an iconic Star Wars ship, you may be surprised to discover that only five LEGO TIE Bomber models have been created to date.

The LEGO Star Wars theme is set to expand once again next year, with a trio of new models arriving on January 1, 2023. Joining the existing range of builds will be 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter, 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack and 75347 TIE Bomber.

The latter is the first iteration of the Imperial ship to be launched since a TIE Bomber mini-build of the vehicle was released with issue 70 of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine in 2021. In fact there have only ever been a grand total of five LEGO TIE Bomber models created to date, including the upcoming 75347 TIE Bomber:

5 – 4479 TIE Bomber

The first LEGO version of the ship that made its debut in The Empire Strikes Back arrived in 2003. The 225-piece build wasn’t exactly the most accurate interpretation of the TIE Bomber, with a large number of blue elements and a blank-faced Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot minifigure.

Released in 2013 as part of the LEGO Star Wars Planets Series 3, the 56-piece model featured a mini TIE Bomber, an updated Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot minifigure and an opening plastic display globe meant to represent the Hoth asteroid field.

3 – 911613 TIE Bomber

A foil-bagged mini-build available with LEGO Star Wars Magazine in 2016, this version of the TIE Bomber only consisted of 26-pieces. However, the model is a surprisingly faithful interpretation of the ship, albeit on a much smaller scale.

2 – 912171 Imperial TIE Bomber

LEGO Star Wars Magazine featured a second foil-bagged TIE Bomber mini-build, with this version arriving in 2021. The 28-piece ship further refined the look of the previous model, making it much wider to match the appearance of the big screen version.

1 – 75347 TIE Bomber

The upcoming 75347 TIE Bomber looks set to trump all previous LEGO versions of the Imperial ship, with a 625-piece build that also includes minifigures of Darth Vader, Admiral Sloane and TIE Bomber Pilot, plus a buildable Gonk Droid.

75347 TIE Bomber will be released on LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores on January 1, 2023 priced at £59.99 / $64.99 / €64.99. Be sure to check out our full in-depth review of the model right here.
