Every LEGO set in the third BrickLink Designer Program round

The third round of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program is fast approaching, with nine projects all in the running to be one of five official sets.

Only three of the following projects can become a real model and only be achieving 3,000 pre-orders before all five spots are filled. With the third round starting on May 17, you’ve only got a couple of days left to decide which build you’ll be pre-ordering.

Here’s every project in the third round of the BrickLink Designer Program

Brickwest Studios

Pieces: 3,928 Price: £259.99 / $349.99 / €289.99

Brickwest Studios was originally part of the second round but was delayed out of respect to the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust, an upcoming western movie. Now, it’s set to be up for pre-order in the third and final phase of the program.

1950s Diner

Pieces: 1,377 Price: £99.99 / $129.99 / €109.99

Depicting a classic American diner, this model includes four minifigures and a fully-furnished interior ready to serve hot dogs, donuts and waffles to the waiting patrons. It also includes a vintage fuel pump and pink car to complete the scene.

Train Station: Studgate

Pieces: 4,062 Price: £299.99 / $399.99 / €339.99

Those who have been waiting for a grand train station to add to their LEGO CITY might want to consider Studgate with two covered platforms as well as a train to add to your display.

Winter Chalet

Pieces: 2,705 Price: £149.99 / $199.99 / €169.99

You could add the Winter Chalet to your seasonal winter village display, as it comes with a detailed exterior and an open back wall to act out festive scenes.

Working Waterfall

Pieces: 2,399 Price: £169.99 / $229.99 / €189.99

This project appears to be intended as a display piece, though its functions have changed since it was created. Now, instead of loose falling elements a looping track of waterfall sections spin down and around the cliff face, but it means that the interior has been filled with a mine to explore.

Space Troopers!

Pieces: 2,670 Price: £149.99 / $199.99 / €169.99

Any enthusiasts of Classic Space might prefer Space Troopers! with its colour scheme and minifigures inspired by the nostalgic theme.

Mountain View Observatory

Pieces: 3,889 Price: £245.99 / $319.99 / €269.99

This project was also part of an earlier round, though it was delayed due to unforeseen complexities. However, its time has come in this final phase of the BrickLink Designer Program.

Steam Powered Science

Pieces: 3,402 Price: £219.99 / $299.99 / €249.99

After a last-minute name change, Steam Powered Science is also ready for pre-orders with a research facility to explore, focusing on the wonders of science and steam.

Modular Construction Site

Pieces: 3,371 Price: £245.99 / $319.99 / €269.99

Recreate a building under construction in your city with this project, including a fully-equipped site with a crane to finish the model. You might even be tempted to try and complete it yourself.
